It's not just about price. Here's what actually matters when picking where to get your weight loss medication.
The most important factor. A good provider should have a proper titration protocol (starting you on a low dose and gradually increasing), offer proactive side-effect support, and have GMC/GPhC-registered prescribers reviewing your case. Ask: what happens if you have problems between appointments?
That £70/month starting price looks great, but you won't stay on the starting dose. Maintenance doses of semaglutide (2.4mg) cost £200-£240/month across most providers. Factor in consultation fees, delivery charges, and prescription processing fees. Some providers include everything; others add charges at each step.
Weight loss medication works best with lifestyle changes. Some providers (Voy, Numan, Juniper) include health coaching, nutrition advice, and exercise guidance. Others just post you a pen.
